WHO WE ARE
CaseWare Australia & New Zealand (formerly Task Technology) has been the authorised distributor for CaseWare International in Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea since 1996. In recent years, both the CaseWare software products and our templates have seen huge development and technology advances, and more recently have incorporated many international and Australian regulatory requirements. We are committed to providing an update of our templates suitable for the Australian and New Zealand market on an annual basis, supported by relevant training options, our FAQ site and our experienced technical and support personnel.
We also distribute the CaseWare suite of products designed to complement the Working Papers base product and have recently launched our cloud offering – CaseWare Online.
WHAT WE DO
Our company interacts with professional and regulatory bodies such as the CA and AUASB to understand the standards, ethics and regulations that govern the auditing and accounting fields. We take pride in our staff, who are often invited to speak at various industry seminars or consulting groups and take the opportunity to connect with our customers. Our customers know they can rely on CaseWare and our Audit and Financial templates to assist them to comply with industry standards, while producing professional documentation in an effective business manner.
Our staff have extensive accounting, auditing and computing experience, necessary for the successful development and support of our Audit and Financial templates utilising CaseWare Working Papers and other complimentary products. As part of our suite of customer care services, we also provide consulting, training and support in these products, as well as general auditing consulting and advice services.

As Managing Partner of a mid-tier accounting firm, Solly introduced CaseWare to Australia as the first users in 1994. In 1996 the firm began distributing the software and Solly wrote the content for the original audit and reporting templates.
Solly’s main role now as chairman is ensuring the team stays true to what has led to our success; that is ensuring we provide accountants and auditors with software tools that are fully compliant, aid efficiency and remain relevant by keeping pace with technology advances.
Solly enjoys time with family and friends, his holiday house, the occasional game of tennis and a regular glass of a good red wine.
Chief Executive Officer
Craig joined CaseWare in 2001 after working for many years in the golf industry and then with an internet start-up. Craig brings experience in business management, sales and marketing to the business and has enjoyed contributing to the growth and development of the business. He has been instrumental in the development of the cloud app CaseWareCloud SMSF Audit and is very keen to see where innovation in the cloud can go.
Outside the business, Craig enjoys time with his family and has been heavily involved in local AFL as a coach and committee member, and has a passion for travel, photography and technology.
Justin moved into the CaseWare division of the then MGI Meyrick Webster back in 1999 bringing with him his accounting and auditing knowledge. Justin has worked in most areas of the company, but now manages the financial reporting products. In 2012, Justin took the opportunity to become a director of CaseWare Australia & New Zealand.
When he is not in the office, he is attempting to play tennis or is off to a warm climate for some R&R and the occasional cocktail.
Sarah joined PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2002 and completed an Audit traineeship whilst obtaining her Business degree. She then joined CaseWare Australia & New Zealand in 2009 as a Customer Relationship Manager for all Audit and Accounting firms. Since then, Sarah has also assisted with the development and delivery of CaseWare training courses, and now works as the Product Manager for CaseWare’s latest offering, SMSF Audit.
Away from work, Sarah enjoys keeping fit, catching up with friends and is an avid travel photographer – her camera is always the first thing packed, even on work trips!
Steve has been working with CaseWare customers since starting in 2008. He has assisted a number of firms and Corporations implement solutions bringing further efficiency to their external audits and accounts production.
In his spare time, he is always investigating anything techy whilst finding spare time on the weekends to hang-out with family and friends.
Tim has been a Template developer since March 2003, support manager for 4 years between 2005 and 2009, and is now our Audit System product manager. Tim’s favourite thing about his work is providing automatic solutions and efficiencies for Auditors and Accountants. Being the inspiration to ‘Tim’s Tips’, he is always committed to our customers and staff when they are after assistance.
Having four children limits his free time but he loves playing cricket and footy, and even into online gaming when time permits.
Andreas has been working with CaseWare Working Papers since 2005 when he joined the ValueFinancials team in PricewaterhouseCoopers. In 2012 he decided to join the team in CaseWare Australia. Andreas brings along specific technical knowledge into the team and helps us to solve difficult questions that we receive from our clients.
In his free time, he likes to spend time with his family and friends.
Graham joined the firm in March 2007 from a background in IT at Mobil Oil and AXA. He enjoys nothing better than helping clients get the most out of their Caseware experience and his specialty is assisting clients with the IT aspects of Smartsync and Network Licensing. He is also partial to a nice shiraz with Pepperjack a personal favourite.
As our current CRM, Betty is our primary point of contact with you, our customer. Betty sees customer and service as her No.1 priority and will bring all of her her past experience in sales, marketing and administration to the fore when helping all CaseWare Australia & New Zealand’s customers.
Betty will be reaching out to customers regularly to discuss their needs and experiences but is also available to help with your software, training or consulting requirements and to assist with other customer requests. Her full access to the Administration, Sales, Support and Development teams will ensure she is able to get an answer to your queries.
Joe joined CaseWare Australia & New Zealand in 2006, with a background in software development. In his time at CaseWare he has been involved in a broad range of areas including: support, Audit and Financial Reporting template development, consulting and training.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, going to the gym to keep fit and is currently learning to play the guitar.
Ken began his CaseWare career straight out of University handling client queries from our Support desk in 2011. An interesting 5 years has seen him assist with the development of both the Financial IFRS and Audit templates. Drawing on his experience with CaseWare SmartSync and the CaseWare Cloud platform, Ken recently worked on a team developing our new CaseWare SMSF Audit product. You may have also met him through one of the many training courses he conducts.
Outside of work, he spends most of his time exercising in between playing basketball for his Uni team and yoga.
Robyn initially joined CaseWare as a maternity leave position replacement and has since taken on our Account and Admin role. She has experience in Accounting, Administration and Project Management. Outside of work, Robyn is currently doing a course with The Coaching Institute and is a passionate Western Bulldogs supporter.
Heidi Vester (On maternity leave until Oct 2017)
Heidi brings her bubbly personality and a real “can do” attitude from her many years in sales and customer service both in her native Denmark and in her few years in Australia.
Heidi has experience with large and small businesses which allows her to add value to our business and to our customers. Heidi looks forward to assisting all our current and future customers with the delivery of their software and the organisation of their training programs.
Nataly joined our sales team in February 2016. Coming from South Africa with over 3 years of experience in CaseWare, she brings with her a great deal of knowledge and experience with CaseWare products. Nataly’s focus is on new business and Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSF) Audit
In her spare time she can be found reading a good book and enjoying glass of red wine or catching up on her favourite series.
The second best thing to come out of South Africa, David joined us in June 2016 as a Technical Consultant with over 3 years of experience in CaseWare across various sectors of the business ranging from support to development and consulting. He enjoys a technical challenge and working closely with clients to achieve the best results possible. In his spare time, he has been known to enjoy a good amount of exploring of Victoria with the focus being on good food, great wine and capturing the beauty of the country from the lofty heights with his drone.
Technical Support Consultant
Aaron joined CaseWare early in 2017 after completing his Commerce degree at Melbourne University. Always enthusiastic, Aaron has taken to learning and supporting CaseWare in what seems like the blink of an eye! Fluent in English and Malay, we’re waiting for the day he gets a support call that means he gets to use his bilingual skills. When not at CaseWare, Aaron lists “Finance & Accounting” as a hobby, so he may as well be at work all the time, except when he cycles around the countryside.
